Biography

I have been teaching in Redcliff for 30 years. My first teaching assignment was with the privately operated Redcliff ECS (kindergarten)at the Gordon Memorial Church basement. Mrs. Marco and I worked together for 10 years in this system before we became part of the Redcliff School Division in 1989. For the next 5 years I continued to teach ECS. I taught at Margaret Wooding School for a couple of years and also at I. F. Cox for a couple of years. I was then given the position as the grade four teacher at MW. I am now one of the oldest members of the staff, but I still look forward to the rewards and challenges of this career.
I have been married for 31 years and I have two wonderful children. My daughter Casandra is married to Jesse and they have a precious little daughter named Norah. I didn't know that being a grandma was going to be so much fun. My son Kent is completing his final practicum in education and will have his BSC/BED degree by Christmas.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, biking, hiking, kayaking, gardening,camping,and travelling.
